Fixtures can be a challenge to keep clean, especially because they are always used around water and soap, leaving spots on the surface. Although you can’t completely keep your faucet from spotting, you can prevent the build up of deposits by cleaning the faucet regularly to keep it sparkling.

Removing those spots doesn’t require chemicals or scrubbing, you can make a solution of equal parts vinegar and water, and put it on the areas with spotting for a few minutes before wiping it down with a dry cloth. Most spots should already be gone with that simple method, but if you still find there are some stubborn marks, you can dip an old toothbrush into the same vinegar mixture and use it to scrub the stubborn spots.

After cleaning it, the best way to keep the faucet shining is by wiping it dry after each use. You could try keeping a cloth or towel nearby so that it’s convenient and easier to keep your chrome fixture clean and shining.
